The primary purpose of the Paid Search Manager is to plan, develop and optimise the strategic acquisition of new customers across key and emerging markets via our paid search & Shopping channels, overseeing the executions, working alongside our agency partners and deliver upon marketing plans. In addition to that, it to identify and seek new opportunities, test them thoroughly to generate and scale new customers and sales through profitable growth.
The role would also require you to support multiple business areas, including retention & brand marketing, web mechanising and retail with the aim to running effective, overarching, digital campaigns to drive growth across the business.
The person coming it will be a key player in the expanding team, to help champion digital in the business, pushing the online agenda wherever possible and will have confidence to interface with key senior level colleagues across the business to help educate and influence decision making.
- Take ownership in reviewing, developing, and project-managing all PPC campaigns, strategically driving scale and growth, across multiple markets.
- Manage at least one junior direct report to nurture and develop with the aim in upskilling their analytical & PPC skills and support on key campaign initiatives.
- Proactively identify new online opportunities to help acquire new customers and improve acquisition KPIs. Build P&Ls for these new opportunities and gain financial approval.
- Must have a data centric mind set and plan & lead on testing initiatives usingrobust methodology. Owning the Test & learn approach.
